hey there, I’m lauren!

I have an obsession with stories. If I haven’t had the chance to hear yours yet, I’ll share mine first.

I’m a corporate employee turned Entrepreneur. A University of Guelph Grad, I returned to school at Mohawk College in 2012 to learn how to use my camera and chase this dream job. Two years later I went full-time after graduation. I fell hard for documenting relationships of all kinds in front of my camera – a passion that has only grown since.

I’m the youngest of 3, I have three nieces and one nephew, and come from probably the best family you could find (…I know, I’m biased).

I totally credit them for my love of documenting family bonds whether it be at a session or wedding day, and like you, we know there’s not much better than the connection you have with your favourite people.

 

My favourite thing to do is laugh until I cry, followed closely by strolling through antique shops, catching up with friends, grabbing a drink on a patio, and travelling around the world or just around the corner on the hunt for cool locations and gorgeous views. I’m a basketball junkie and avid sports fan who also loves to hear what you’re passionate about too.

I’m no stranger to nostalgia and love to hear stories from the past as much as I enjoy making new ones to cherish.

When I’m behind the camera I pursue those moments that you didn’t think I could catch; and those same ones you are so thankful that I did. I love the moments that make you, you – and the ones you are so excited to share or show off. They’re authentic, they’re yours, and I feel so lucky to get to capture them.

I want you to be nothing but thrilled about your time with me, I'm almost guaranteed to laugh at your jokes, and I can't wait to hear from you!!
